Kapitol Promotions Ltd. sends each of the eight Regional committees entry forms showing the dates of each Regional Championship, the test-pieces for the five competing sections, the entry fees and the closing date for entries. The eight secretaries of the Regional committees then send these to the bands in each of their respective regions. Once a band has qualified through its respective Regional Championship, an invitation to its relevant section in the National Finals will be enclosed in the prize envelope presented on stage at the Regional Championship.

The invitation will show the date that the recipient band’s sectional ‘Final’ will take place, the venue for it, the entry fee, a declaration to be signed by the band, indicating that it will abide by the National Rules, plus the closing date for entry.
